Residential Home Inspection

Inspection for Buildings up to 4 dwelling units
IHS will also provide inspections for commercial buildings and buildings up to four (4) dwelling units. Included in this inspection are each dwelling unit and the common areas.
Residential 1 year warranty inspection
Before the builder’s warranty expires an IHS Inspector will provide a detailed, visual, evaluation of the home. Investigate how the home has aged, and if the building has been constructed according to prevailing standards. Moreover, the inspector will provide information on how to care properly for the systems in the house. With the report the homeowner will be able to make his warranty really worth it, and protect his investment.
Home Maintenance Inspection
First time home buyers are inexperienced in how to maintain their home, which is probably the largest investment the client has ever made. This inspection is designed to provide important maintenance information and help the client prevent costly repairs that could be avoided, schedule regular maintenance tasks that will certainly extend the life of the house’s components, and strategies to keep the utility bill low or improve condition of the systems installed.
Mold Inspection and testing
Mold is a growing concern, because it is a health risk nobody is willing to take. Your IHS inspector is qualified to perform a visual mold inspection and collect test samples and interpret its result.
Radon Measurement and Result’s Interpretation
Radon, the second leading cause of lung cancer, is a radioactive gas emitted from the ground that may seep into the home. IHS will provide a radon measurement as part of your home inspection.
Termite and WDI
Your IHS inspector is a state certified consultant who is dedicated to giving you accurate information and will provide the client with an accurate, detailed and easy to understand report.
